Hooray Carbon!

Behold the power of carbon.. Brita or DeBeers feel free to contact me about payment as a spokesperson for your products.

this weekend while in NYC i noticed all my friends were had this item or a variation of in their homes

nashville water is somewhat funky after having superior water growing up in Pearland, TX . As part of my diet i’ve increased my water intake and figured it’s worht it to have better tasting water so i picked this one up and i gotta say it’s fantastic.

This weekend i had a great discussion with my friend on the many uses of the amazing carbon for filtering, pumping stomachs, bling (i was at a friends engagement and saw the huge rock he bought for his finance), and in fine/not so fine beverages everywhere.

Please leave your comments on how carbon has impacted your lives.

i had one of these. then i got too lazy to refill it. then i got one that went right on my faucet, and i got too cheap to buy a refill filter for it. so carbon has helped me realize how cheap and lazy i am, and now i’m immune to the taste of city water. the key is not to smell it before or while you are drinking it.

I have one of these pretty much built-in to my fridge’s chilled water dispenser and ice maker. Has really cut down on how much bottled water I buy; mainly I only buy the bottled stuff for when I’m out and about.

To see the beautiful and practical use some enterprising college students made of a charcoal filter, see here.

BTW, you want some seriously good tap water? Go to Munich. The municipal supply is from alpine springs. http://www.swm.de/en/products/mwasser.html I can attest that the water is so cold that in summer, their is condensation on the spigot. Seriously, I’ve never had better tap water in my life.

I realize I’m a little late here, but carbon really does it for me. I wouldn’t have made it through organic chemistry without it. And besides that, without carbon, we’d all be plastic. Oh wait…
