so for the 2nd time in my flying history my luggage been misplaced by the airlines. Most of you know me, i’m not one to get overly upset about such things because as the saying goes.. shiite happens. But its not like i left from a mongo huge airport in the middle of the day with tons of a flights. I left from piss ant Nashville, around the time the last group of flights were leaving.. and i had checked my luggage an hour before the posted time and there was a 30 minute delay (just enough time to grab a cheeky one at the airport pub) . So anyway until southwest calls i’m glad i have a washer/dryer nearby.
Merry Christmas!

Here’s a new story i experienced after my trip to NYC this weekend.
While at JFK i was in line a few people behind a very large, muscular bald headed man who looked familiar and then he turned and i recognized him. I lost him after going through security and figured oh well.
After arriving in Nashville i saw him at baggage claim so even though i didn’t see him on the plane he must have been on my flight.
People approached him steadily for pictures and autographs which he politely accommodated. Though one individual practically dry humped his leg trying to befriend him. I noticed that he had a tired look on his face and said to the man nice to meet you and checked his voicemail. i didn’t want to be the fan that asked him for an autograph or whatever so i snapped a quick picture and just waited for my bags.
As the bags came around one bag got stuck on something so i reached down to release the snag and i hear a voice say, “Thanks, let me get this out of your way. ” So i handled Eddie George’s luggage. We made some small talk as we waited for our other bags to arrive and he commented on being in NYC for the Heisman Trophy presentation. And that was good enough to cap off another trip to NYC.

It’s been said unique customized experiences will be the way of the future of ecommerce. Everyone wants to feel like an individual and not a lemming, especially when it comes to the parting of hard earned dollars. Nike has a site where you can customize shoes, you can do that with Chuck Taylor’s as well.
here’s one for your oenophiles. Crushpad
If you end up doing it be sure to invite me for a glass.
Some of the conversation around these parts lately has been about healthier living. The more granola people we interact with talk about organic living and healthier choices when eating etc. Which I totally agree with we should be more aware of what we put into our bodies and as evidence by my rapid weight loss earlier this year by making some subtle lifestyle choices. But lately we’ve been hearing about the colon cleanse and all the propaganda that surrounds it. Most sites on the web that discuss it have graphic images and hyped up stories about it’s benefits etc.
All i gotta say is.. a nice pint of Young’s Oatmeal Stout gets things moving.
Ah, beer. The cause of and the solution to all of life’s problems.
